It pays to prepare in advance for the allergy season. Doing so will save you from sneezes, itchy eyes and a blocked nose. The first phase of allergy treatment consists of identifying the cause. For the approaching allergy season, we are offering allergy tests for the most common pollen groups, without a doctor’s referral, for EUR 53 per test, and further testing for EUR 45 per test.
\nBook a time for an allergy test ><\/a><\/p>\n

One of two possible allergens must be chosen from each pollen group. An allergy diagnosis will help to identify the right medicines, and enable you to prepare in time, for the allergy season. Allergies are diagnosed using blood tests, with no need to stop taking your allergy medicine. The results are posted to your home address.<\/p>\n

Hay fever<\/h2>\n

Hay allergies are diagnosed with a blood test, covering the most common causes of hay fever: Timothy grass, perennial ryegrass, cock’s-foot, Kentucky bluegrass and meadow fescue. The hay fever season is at its worst in Finland in June and July, continuing until the end of August.
\nAn easy, tablet-based form of desensitisation treatment for hay fever is available, providing permanent relief from allergy symptoms.<\/p>\n

Tree pollen allergy<\/h2>\n

Tree pollen allergies are identified using blood tests covering oak, birch, alder, willow and hazel. Trees bloom at different times and the allergy season begins with alder in March\u2013April, after which birch blooms. The timing of medication and issuing of prescriptions become easier once the allergen has been identified.
