Plastic surgeon Anna-Stiina Meriläinen is in her dream job, and enjoys its variety and challenges. Anna-Stiina has worked in reconstructive plastic surgery at Kanta-Häme Central Hospital, and also has experience in aesthetic surgery in the private sector.
Anna-Stiina is very broadly interested in plastic surgery. She has performed a range of breast surgical procedures – reductions, uplifts and augmentations – using both implants and fat transfer. In body sculpting, her forte is abdominoplasty and correction of abdominal muscle separation. She also performs a variety of procedures in the facial area, such as surgery on the upper and lower eyelid, fat transfer, filler and botulinum injections, and demanding removal of skin cancer and skin lesions on the face.
Cheerful and smiling, Anna-Stiina is highly responsible and meticulous. It is very important to her to earn the patient’s trust, and she does her utmost to create a safe and trusting atmosphere during consultations and the procedures themselves. She takes her patients’ concerns and worries very seriously and is intensely focused on finding a solution, or at least alleviating the problem.
