General payment methods
We accept the most common bank and credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners. We do not accept cash. In addition to card payments, we accept payment commitments from occupational health.
Flexibility for payments with the Skin Hospital’s invoice and instalment payment service
The Skin Hospital’s invoice or instalment payment service will give you more time to pay for your treatment. We can either invoice you for the whole price or you can select credit, choosing the payment period and instalments that suit you best.
Ask about the credit option at the check-out. We will inform you by email or letter to your home address about the credit decision, giving you an interest-free payment period of 14 days. Kanta fee
The Kanta fee is charged for all visits that involve saving data in the Kanta archive. Such visits include e.g. visits to a doctor, nurse or foot therapist. The Kanta fee is not added to laboratory visits that do not involve a reception visit. For hospital treatment, one Kanta fee per treatment period is charged. The Kanta fee is charged in addition to the outpatient clinic fee.

The doctors are independent entrepreneurs and decide their own prices, so the prices at reception vary. See the individual doctors’ details for their exact prices. Any treatments and examinations are performed, if possible, during the consultation, and are charged for separately. The prices on the price list are indicative only, and the final price will be known once the doctor has assessed the situation.

The Skin Hospital performs minor day-surgery procedures, often during doctor’s consultations. In many cases, two or three moles can be removed in a short, 20-minute session, but a longer time should be booked for a higher number of moles. Practices vary from doctor to doctor, so please check the duration of the procedure, based on your own doctor’s information on our Experts page. The total price for mole removal generally varies between EUR 250-400.

Certain types of moles and many skin alterations can be treated by laser if surgery would be unnecessary and challenging. The total price for skin alteration generally varies between EUR 350-600, depending on the situation, removal method and possible pathological examinations. For mole removal, a time is booked with a dermatologist, who selects the most suitable treatment method together with the patient. Our laser treatment experts are also skilled in the surgical removal of moles. When booking a time, please state your preferred mole removal method in the further details field.

The Skin Hospital performs laser procedures to treat illnesses or for cosmetic purposes. Cosmetic treatments, such as scar smoothing and skin rejuvenation treatments, include VAT as a rule. On the other hand, procedures for the treatment of illnesses exclude VAT. With regard to scars, the treatment of acne scars is usually exclusive of VAT.

Botulinum toxin treatment for excessive sweating of the armpits is considered treatment of an illness, so VAT is not added to the price. Before treatment, the patient will receive a doctor’s prescription to buy the botulinum toxin for bringing along to the clinic. Facial botulinum toxin treatment and filler injections also include the substance used. Depending on the situation, upper eyelid surgery may be considered either treatment of an illness or a purely cosmetic procedure.

You can also book an appointment for procedures performed by a nurse without a doctor’s referral. Procedures performed by a nurse are eligible for Kela compensation with a doctor’s referral; depending on the consultation, the Kela reimbursement is EUR 3-8.

*When checking in for the first phototherapy session (both series and individual sessions), a nurse’s outpatient clinic fee, EUR¬†13, is charged. The Kela reimbursement for phototherapy (EUR¬†3 per session) can be claimed from Kela after the treatment period. Our nurses will give you the necessary form and clear instructions.
You can also book an appointment for procedures performed by a nurse without a doctor’s referral. Procedures performed by a nurse are eligible for Kela compensation with a doctor’s referral; depending on the consultation, the Kela reimbursement is EUR 3‚Äì8.
We do not charge anything for electronic prescriptions. The Skin Hospital can claim Kela reimbursements directly from Kela, meaning that any Kela reimbursements will be deducted as you pay for the treatment.

Cancellation terms
Any cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours before the appointment by using the appointment confirmation link, or by phoning customer service on +358 (0)10 4192 000. We will charge the full price, as shown on the price list, for any appointments that were not properly cancelled.
