Nurse Veera performs various laser and device treatments and plastic surgery procedures at the Skin Hospital. She also holds consultations for plastic surgery and skin device treatments.
Veera started her career in the care sector at the age of 14, helping disabled veterans. She then studied to be a practical nurse and gained work experience in, for example, elderly care and a psychiatric hospital. Veera started working in plastic surgery after graduating as a registered nurse in 2016, so she has extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in this field. She continues to be an avid learner who wants to expand her skills and constantly challenge herself.
Veera has been a charge nurse for laser treatments and procedures at HUS since 2020. Her extensive experience in different minor procedures includes facial surgery, fat grafting, benign tumours, various cancers and genital surgery.
Colleagues describe Veera as a multi-skilled person who is relaxed and fun, but also precise and hard-working and gets along with everyone. Veera is open, cheerful and has a good sense of humour. “My goal is to provide expert and high-quality care with a positive attitude. I enjoy my work and do it with passion. The best thing about my job is satisfied customers. I approach each customer as an individual, without prejudice.”
