Injections are an effective and safe way to prevent signs of ageing on the skin. Typical areas for treatment include:
- crow’s feet lines
- lines around the mouth
- ‘Sibelius’ wrinkles on the forehead
- sagging from the cheekbones and temples
- excessive sweating of armpits
Filler or botulinum
There are two types of injections: filler and botulinum toxin treatment. Fillers, as the name implies, are used to fill sagging facial features; the hyaluronic acid contained in them moisturises the skin effectively, making it supple. The effect of the botulinum toxin, on the other hand, is based on the nerve endings of the muscles, relaxing them to eliminate wrinkles.
Together with the customer, an expert will assess the best method of obtaining optimal results. Injections are quick procedures and their results are immediately visible, without a long recovery period. Treatments can be administered during the first consultation. On the other hand, a separate time can be booked for them if necessary.
Injections are cosmetic procedures, for which VAT is charged. Treatments for excessive sweating are typically considered treatment of an illness, so no VAT is charged for them.
