Skin disease and STD specialist Eija Hiltunen-Back is a leading expert on genital-area skin diseases and STDs. She is a specialist at Helsinki University Hospital’s Skin and Allergy Hospital’s STD out-patient clinic, and active on the working group that makes national treatment recommendations. Eija has long experience of the treatment of skin problems in the genital area, and keeps up to date with the latest information on how best to help each patient.

STD testing and diagnostics have taken tremendous leaps ahead in recent decades, and new examination methods and treatments are being continuously developed. Eija has been active in such development and wants to continue being so in the future. She teaches, writes textbooks and continues her work with the Current Care Guidelines to provide patients with even better and faster treatment for their problems.
